Foods I've Learned To Love

This list will, hopefully, be added to.  I'm amazed at the foods that I used to be terrified of and now am obsessed with! 
  • Hummus - Holy cow, I LOVE hummus.  How did I ever live without hummus?
  • Mexican Food - This is a love story that started with a burrito in an airport.  
  • Feta - I've been putting it on pizza, eggs, salads...yum!
  • Black Beans - Where have you been all my life?  You are good in so many foods!
  • Broccoli - I admit this has to be done right still for me to enjoy it.  This one took a lot of tries before I started liking it.  
  • Sweet Potatoes - As a kid, I tried these once and was totally grossed out.  Now, I think they are fabulous! 
  • Mild Fish - I love fish now!  My sister once made me Jerk Tilapia, and since then, I've adored it.  Fish tacos are one of my favorite foods in the whole world now.  
  • Rice - Yeah, who doesn't like rice? Well, I didn't.  I do now though. :) 
  • Green Beans - I discovered that fresh green beans are delicious! I'm still not crazy about canned ones, but I'll eat them.

    1. Haha! Actually, the first time was Aunt Bonnie. When she lived here, she always had it in the fridge.

    2. I refuse to let the credit go to Aunt Bonnie. It was all me. And now that you have TJs there, you can expand your humunus (hummi?) offerings.

    3. Hey, my grocery store has a ton of awesome hummus flavors. The one I have right now is a basil pesto, and it's so good.
